The tea is harvested in the spring, when the jasmine is in bloom, so that it can be mixed with the jasmine flowers and buds as soon as possible. Jasmine flowers release essential oils during the drying process, while tea leaves absorb its delicate and sophisticated aroma. After the tea has absorbed the aroma, the jasmine flowers are separated, the tea is rolled into "pearls", then dried. The tea has a rich aroma of jasmine with soft notes of nectar in the aftertaste.
