Composition, release form and packaging

Tincture - 1 l.:

     Active ingredients: Hawthorn fruit - 100 g;
     Excipients: Ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - sufficient amount to obtain 1 liter of tincture.

15 ml, 25 ml in orange glass dropper bottles.

Indications for use

Hawthorn tincture is used in complex therapy of functional disorders of cardiac activity, cardialgia, menopausal syndrome, and asthenoneurotic conditions.

Contraindications for use

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Side effects

In some cases, allergic reactions (urticaria, itching) may develop, and rarely - dizziness, tremor, drowsiness. With long-term use in large doses, bradycardia and arterial hypotension are possible.

Drug interactions

With the combined use of hawthorn tincture and cardiac glycosides (strophanthin, digoxin, etc.), the cardiotonic effect is enhanced; with beta-blockers - the hypotensive effect may be enhanced.

Directions for use and doses

Adults: 20-30 drops per dose 3-4 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.

Children over 12 years old - 10-15 drops 3-4 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.

Precautions and special instructions

With long-term use in large doses, a decrease in psychomotor reactions is possible, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles, working with machinery, etc.
