Pectin for making homemade fruit preserves.

1 package - for 2 kg of sugar!

Pectin is found naturally in fruits. Due to its gelling and binding properties in acidic environments, it is very often used in the production of fruit and fruit and vegetable preserves, i.e. jams, jellies, jams and marmalades.

How to make jam (using Celiko Pectin): Wash the fruit thoroughly and dry it in a sieve. Depending on the fruit: pit, remove stems, seeds, peel and chop larger fruits. The prepared and weighed fruits are poured into the pot. Add water*, 1 packet of Celiko pectin and lemon juice. Mix it up. Boil while stirring. Pour sugar into the boiling fruit. Cook min. 3 minutes, stirring so that the jam does not burn. If necessary, remove the formed foam, pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and close them immediately. Turn the jars upside down for about 10 minutes.
