*Pekoe is a variety that came from China, where it was called "Pak Hoa" (translated as two top leaves and a bud). English merchants changed these two words in their own way and said "Peko". For its manufacture, two upper young tea leaves are used. They are tightly rolled into a shape similar to a drop, left to ferment and dried.
