Prestige oolong tea "Da Hong Pao" - from the Chinese language "Big Red Robe". The original tea is one of the most expensive in the world. Its price is 30 times more expensive than gold. In China, there are 6 "mother" tea trees (bushes) left in Fujian Porvince, which have a history of 400 years. Only 400g of tea is harvested per year and it is handed over to state supervisors for storage. Tea is served only to special, high-status persons. That honor went to American President Richard Nixon, who received 50g of the original "Da Hong Pao" tea as a gift.
Tea has relaxing powers, maintaining clarity of mind, peace bordering on spiritual joie de vivre, an influx of strength and optimism.
This unique tea has a rich taste with notes of smoke, roasted nuts, chocolate-caramel. Characteristic sweet persistent aftertaste. Each new infusion will reveal new emotions, in which you will find nuances of citrus fruits, honey and the aroma of the autumn forest.

Da Hong Pao is strongly fermented oolong tea. In the final fermentation process, the tea leaves are heated over coals for 12 hours. Therefore, unlike classic oolong, "Da Hong Pao" tea leaves are dark (black).
Oolong means "black dragon" from the Chinese language. It is a partially (classic oolong ~ 50%) fermented tea, for which the large leaves of the Tea tree "Camelia Sinensis" are used. The fermentation process accesses the outer edges and upper part of the leaf. At the same time, the inner layers of the tea leaf retain their internal structure and are not fermented. Therefore, oolong is believed to combine both the bright aroma of green tea and the rich flavor of black tea. According to the classification, it ranks in the middle - between green and black tea. The Chinese call oolong tea the tea of beauty and grace. Oolong tea can burn twice as many calories as green tea during physical activity. Large leaves contain more caffeine and tannin, which help activate these processes. Substances in oolong tea help improve skin cell walls.
