Oolong means "black dragon" from the Chinese language. It is a partially (50%) fermented tea, for which the large leaves of the Tea tree "Camelia Sinensis" are used. The fermentation process accesses the outer edges and upper part of the leaf. At the same time, the inner layers of the tea leaf retain their internal structure and are not fermented. Therefore, oolong is believed to combine both the bright aroma of green tea and the rich flavor of black tea. According to the classification, it ranks in the middle - between green and black tea. The Chinese call oolong tea the tea of beauty and grace. Oolong tea can burn twice as many calories as green tea during physical activity. Large leaves contain more caffeine and tannin, which help activate these processes. Substances in oolong tea help improve skin cell walls.
