Siberian ginseng is a bush with a height of 2 to 3 meters. The stems of this plant are covered with a 5 millimeter, coniferous spikes. Toothed, fused leaves are five-lobed. From small, yellow or blue-violet flowers, from September to October, berry-like black fruits with a smooth surface are formed. The plant is in Russia, Korea, Japan, and in the northern provinces of China.
